The printmaking studios
Published in 2006, in the chapter: Stamperie d'Arte nell'Italia degli anni Sessanta, written by Antonella Renzitti, talking about Giorgio Upiglio's historic print shop in Milan:
“The master made use of skilled printmakers, including his nephew Daniele Upiglio and Daniela Lorenzi, who on the same spirit created Atelier Quattordici. A print shop of young artists that continues the activity independently but with the same ethical professionalism. All possible inventions for the use of each individual artist's language will be possible, even using industrial printing media as long as it is in keeping with their design intent. Art prints will never be reproductions, however faithful, of predefined graphic sketches.”
